Jane’s Epic Baby Blanket

I love the story behind this blanket! Jane wanted to make a patchwork blanket for her brother and his wife who were expecting their first baby. The project was quite an epic adventure, as she organised 9 people from 4 generations of both his and her families, across 3 continents (UK, Australia and USA) to make squares, ranging from her 10 year old niece to my sister-in-law’s 85 year old grandma! They predominately used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK yarn. The blanket was then backed with Liberty fabric, and sent it back to Australia for the birth of their baby.

Catherine’s Baby Jacket

Catherine from Cambridgeshire knitted this gorgeous baby jacket for her granddaughter using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn. This is Catherine’s third project since she started knitting eight months ago!

Carol’s Manos del Uruguay Scarf

Carol from Sunderland knitted this beautiful scarf using Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend yarn. Even more amazing is that Carol has just picked up knitting again after a 20 year break!

Rosie’s Peacock Tango Scarf

Rosie from Middlesex knitted this gorgeous scarf in just a few days using just one ball of our new Tango yarn. Modelled by her niece who promptly took ownership of the scarf!

Karin’s Flaming Hot Rod Socks

Karin knitted these amazing socks using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn and Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 Ply

Katie’s Cushion

This was Katie’s first knitting project for many years. She made this beautiful cushion using Manos Wool Clasica shade 7311 (Mars) and embellished it with this a gorgeous flower.

Milly’s Dress

OK, so I knitted this! But I’m not eligible for the competition! I just love this dress I knitted for Milly using Louisa Harding Albero yarn. The pattern was taken from the new book Beresford Beach

Carol’s Sand Scarf

This stunning scarf was knitted by Carol from London using two different shades of Louisa Harding Hulda yarn. I’ve been reassured it was a deceptively easy knit, but the end result is beautiful.

Judith’s Jacket

This beautiful jacket was knitted by Judith from Greece using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran yarn which shows off the texture of the stitches very well. Judith is also the winner of April’s gallery competition and receives a £5 Cafe Knit voucher. Well done Judith!

Janine’s Scarf

This beautiful scarf was knitted by Janine using Crystal Palace Taos yarn and an usual stitch she found when browsing online called ‘Faggot’ stitch, which gives it a slightly crocheted effect. Janine is also the winner of February’s gallery competition and receives a £5 Cafe Knit voucher. Well done Janine!
